Annual Blood Drives with the NY Blood Center began in honor of Daniela who’s life benefited from frequent blood transfusions.

Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 for our 5th Annual Blood Drive at St. Matthew's Church in Dix Hills, NY.  All it takes is a little of your time, and you can save lives. When you donate, you are paying it forward for yourself, your family and your neighbors in need. One of the greatest benefits of being a blood donor is the knowledge that you are making a vital difference in the lives of others when you share your good health. 

 

March 2nd, 2025 will mark 5 years that Daniela passed away from  cancer. In her memory, we will be honoring her life with another blood drive hosted by the New York Blood Center. Since 2020, we have collected over 281 units of blood, impacting 843 local patients. DCF and NY Blood Center are ready to do it all again in 2025.

All donors will receive a free wellness checkup that includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.
